Day 1:Pick up from your hotel to Virunga National park

After your peaceful morning breakfast you will be transferred to Virunga national park , which will take about 4-5 hours driving to gisenyi/Goma border. You will then be required to present your travel documents including;Congo tourist visa, valid passport photo, and a yellow fever.it is from here that you either continue with the guide or  be transported by another guide from a trusted car rental safari operator, for about an 90 mkinutes to Mikeno lodge

Day 2:Chimp tracking

Awesome! you can’t to spend an hour in the presence of these intelligent chimpanzees at Tongo forest. the process starts at 6:00am  with a maximum group of four individuals per day not forgetting that that some rangers are first sent to the forest in search for the current location of the chimpanzees.  You will then be allowed to be with the chimps for that one hour as mentioned before, after when you will return to your hotel for lunch and get enough rest inorder to prepare for the marvelous next day primate adventure.

Day 3:Mountain Gorilla trekking

Mountain gorilla trekking is one primate activity, that almost all all travellers to Congo include it as one of their bucket list adventure. From Mikeno lodge, you will be driven to the trekking point, where you will be briefed about the do’s and don’ts of tyrekking mountain gorillas.  with the help of  game reangers and guides, your group will be lead through to the point where the gorillas are, then you will be offered an hour with them. It from this point tjhat you will be urged  to go back to the base. the driver will then tranport you back tom mikenjo lodge for lunch for dinner and a peaceful night.

Day 4:Hiking Mount Nyiragongo

whether it is your first time or not, you can really  overcome this challenge. This is a real lifetime experience that will never be erased from your memory, because you will count yourself lucky among thousands who have made it to the world’s number one active bubbling lava lake, situated at the top of the Nyiragongo crater.  You will be transfered tom kibati patrol post  for briefing  before setting off for your brilliant Nyiragongo hike. the route feels pretty good except for the loose volcanic rocks that makes movements quite tiring. you will be amazred by the stunning views of the boiling lava at volcanic crater, after then you will retire for dinner and an overnight at the cabins

NB. You should always  remember for the mikeno package so that you dinner and other hiking gadgets will be  arranged to the top of the summmit.

Day 5:descending from Nyiragongo and transfer to Kahuzi Biega national park.

After your breakfast, as the sun rises, embark on your journey back to the base, for you will find  your the driver waiting to transfer you back to the hotel for lunch. Sign out of mikeno  and leave for Kahuzi Biega national park   on a speed boat that may lust for about 3 to 4 hours riding through lake Kivu which is also fielled with beautiful sceneries of many islands including Idjwi island, then  to Bukavu town.Dinner and Overnight at Orchid’s lodge.

Day 6: Eastern lowland gorilla trekking

This is  anew day to start with seeing another type of gorillas in the world besides Mountain Gorillas. An amount of one 90 minutes will be spent to transport you to the park headquarters  for briefing where you will be told about the do’s and Don’ts of trekking the Eastern lowland gorillas. The guides will then lead you through the forest following the trails that lead you to the exact location of the Eastern lowland gorillas. This will take about 2-6 hours to find them. On your encounter, you will be allowed to spend an hour with these professional primates, there after you will embark on your journey to the base.

Day 7:Hiking Kahuzi

Embark on your 6o minutes drive to Kahuzi Biega national park headquarters, also known as the starting point for hiking mount Kahuzi after your early morning breakfast. Your briefing about the hike will take about 30 minutes, after when you  will start hiking  at 8:00am.   Along the hike, you have high chances of encountering  other primate species as well as the birds, and it always takes a total of  7 hours with four to the peak, and the other 3 is used for descending. Dinner and overnight at orchid’s lodge.

day 8:Hiking Biega.

Take  your breakfast, pack enough drinking water, and energy giving snacks,  get into your safari jeep, and laeve for the park’s  headquarters.You will still spend an hour to reach Starting point of climbing mount Biega “the second highest mountain within the park”. The  trek through to the top will take approximate 6 hours, with 3 equal hours for both ascent and descent.

Day 9:Transfer to Nyungwe and then to volcanoes national park

After you breakfast, Embark on your early morning journey to Nyungwe forest national park. Am sure you will be amazed by the stunning scenery as  you cross to Rwnada through the Cyangugu border, driving through  Bukavu through Ruzizi River. After crossing the border, you will still the drive trough the tree plantations  to Nyungwe  forest lodge/Nyungwe hill top/ or Gisakuru guest house for four your lunch.

After a short relaxation, you will head to Uwinka Visitor’s station, fro your exclusive two hour canopy walk at Nyungwe national park. This walk offers brilliant and panoramic excellent views of the thick Montane Forest, wildlife, and the birds. Spend your evening relaxing at Nyungwe forest Lodge.

Day 10:transfer to volcanoes national park

Enjoy your morning breakfast and leave for Volcanoes national Park. It may take approximately 6-7 hours driving from Nyungwe national park to volcanoes National park with lunch en-route. You will reach in the afternoon, and check in to your hotel for relaxation, dinner,and an overnight at Muhabura lodge or Sabyinyo Silverback lodge or even Le bambou  lodge,(depending on your choice).

Day 11:Golden monkey tracking and ibyiwachu cultural village.

Rise up early before 7:am for your break fast, with enough drinking water and snacks and get into the safari jeep. The driver will then drive you to  the park  headquarters at kinigi for briefing. Like Gorilla trekking, you will be required to move along with not more than 8mpersons in the group and the guides  will lead you through the jungle in the such for the golden monkeys which may take about 2- 6 hours. You will be allowed to spend an hour with the golden monkeys on your encounter, and  then return back to the starting point where you will be picked and transferred to your hotel for your lunch retreat  and relaxation.

Visit the locals of the  Iby’iwachu cultural village,  where you will meet the most peaceful and well cultured Reandese. You will also get to learn about the history of  Randa’s culture and traditions. The locals are so friendly  that upon reach, the host family will take you in as if you were part of them before. Through their guide you may participate in their cultural activites including ;visiting the King’s hut where you may if(if willing) become king for afew hours as you excercise the king’s powers;Participate in the traditional dances; and many more activities if time allows.Drive back  to your lodge for dinner retreat and an overnight.

Day 12:Transfer to Kabale with enroute batwa visit.

Take your hearty breakfast, and  you will be driven for an hour to Cyanika border, then to kisoro. Along your way to  Kabale, you will visit the batwa local communities as well as their day  today lifestyles. the driver will take you through the gorilla trekking Bwindi route to a local herbalist  who will showcase the way he prepares his  herbs to treat an different human sicknesses, see how beer is made using the local brew method not forgeting the blacksmith who makes the local tools used in the every day life.

Apart from the above, you may also opt for the traditional performance from the batwa community, do a coffee tour, visit the local markets in kisoro and later transfer to Kisoro.(your lunch will be enroute). Dinner and overnight at either Bird Nest Lodge or Bunyonyi overland, Acadia cottages.

Day 13: Canoe ride  on Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Bwindi National park.

Get out of your bed for your morning breakfast,  after then leave for  your 5 hour ride at Lake Bunyonyi, where you an as well swim and later come back to the hotel for lunch. After you lunch retreat, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth national park  and this will take about 5-6 hours to reach your hotel at mweya safari lodge

Day 14:Morning game drive and afternoon kazinga channel

After you Early morning breakfast, you  will leave for ahalf day gamedrive  where you will encounter tree climbing lions, worthogs, spotted hyenas as well as the  spotted hyenas and birds. You wioll also visit the uganmda kobs mating ground where most kobs meet to entice, callenge and mate. You will then return for lunch, relax and return for a boat launch on Kiazinga channel which is a 42km water way which joins two lakes that is lake Edward and lake George.

Day 15.departure to either Entebbe 

This is the final day of your trip, and we are glad you have made it, You will drive from queen elibetth National park to Entebbe
